FAQs

WHAT IS A CAR SPOILER?

Car spoilers are the most popular car accessory in America today. Our factory style spoilers look exactly like the spoiler you would buy from Ford, Honda or any other company, but they usually cost half as much. Saving you a lot of money.

The main difference in our factory style spoilers & the factory's spoilers should be the placement of the bolt-holes. We may move the bolt-holes from where the factory places them for ease of installation or for increased stability. If you are replacing a factory spoiler or a custom spoiler, it may be necessary to fill the old holes, touch them up with primer and paint and drill new holes. This is not hard & any body shop or handyman can do it quickly.

Our spoilers come as either bolt-on or no drill with double-sided 3M tape. If it does not say, it is a bolt-on.

CAN I BUY MY CAR SPOILER PAINTED?

If your car spoiler is available painted, you will find the color listed on the options.  We only carry the most popular colors with painted spoilers. That is the reason we are able to sell our spoilers as inexpensively as we do.

If "UNPAINTED" is the only choice, that spoiler can not be painted by us.

Remember, your spoiler's paint will be factory fresh just like your car was when new. If your car is several years old, or the paint has faded, the spoiler will not match perfectly. You should buy an unpainted spoiler and have a local body shop match the paint to your car if your paint is faded.

Nearly any local body shop can paint the spoiler for you. It will need to be lightly sanded and primered. You could always print a picture of the spoiler and take to your local shop and receive a quote before purchasing the spoiler. It normally costs between $75 & $125 to have a spoiler painted. Prices depend on the size of the spoiler and the color of the paint. Some paints are higher than others.

Painted spoilers will have the light installed, if applicable, and the tape if it is a no-drill spoiler.

REQUIRED: Choose your spoiler, then you MUST confirm your Year, Make & Model and the vehicle's color code in the shopping cart's Delivery Instructions section (at the bottom of the order form) if ordering a painted spoiler.

Occasionally, we will run out of a spoiler in a color.  If this happens, we will email you back and let you know.

You will have three options:

  1. Cancel the order.  We will refund you the full amount.
  2. We can ship it primered and you can get a local body shop there to paint it for you. We will refund the cost of the paint.
  3. We can charge you an additional amount (usually ranges from $40-60) and we will get a shop here to paint it and then we will ship it to you.  We will email you and tell you what the extra charge would be.

It will be up to you to decide.

WHERE DO I FIND MY COLOR CODE?

We must have the color code of your vehicle to paint your spoiler to match. Some cars may have four variations of black or white.  That is why we must use the color code to match it up.

If you don't know where your color code is, please call your local dealership with the VIN # to find the information we need. Most dealerships will tell you the color if you call the parts department with your VIN#.

We can not accept GM paint codes without the WA number. This means Buick, Cadillac, Chevy, GMC, Hummer, Oldsmobile, and Pontiac. This is a 4-digit code with either a WA or another letter in front of the 4 numbers.

On two-tone paint codes, the top color MUST be provided.

NOTE:  Due to paint systems, painting batch and many other external factors, spoilers painted may differ slightly from the original color; we shall not be held responsible for this slight difference in color variance. Factory specifications allow for a degree of variance due to factors which are beyond our control. For vehicles which are above two years, we cannot be responsible for the variance due to fading.

MAKING THE SPOILER

Our spoilers are priced inexpensively, because they are already primered or painted and boxed.  They usually ship the same business day or the next day after they are ordered.

The spoiler is then shipped via UPS ground or USPS to the address you have provided.

In some cases, we may have a backlog on a particular spoiler. We try to let you know which ones they are on the website. If that is the case, we will let you know and see if the wait is alright with you. We will gladly cancel your order and refund your money if it is not.

If you would like, we can switch you to a different spoiler, but we will always contact you to see what you want to do.

We can ship by a faster method, but please remember that the box is oversized and the cost goes up significantly for 2nd day (usually $70-80) or next day shipping (usually $100-110). But, the spoiler can not go faster through the manufacturing process. We are not responsible for UPS delays or routing errors.

WHOLESALE?

If you order more than 5 spoilers at one time, we will discount your order by 10%.  To do this, we will go back into your order and REFUND 10% to your card.

CAN I SEND IN A CHECK?

Yes. Simply print the order form, and fill in the information required from the website (part number, cost, S&H), then fill in your address, etc. If you want it painted, you must fill in the paint code and tell us the color it is (silver, light tarnished silver, etc.). Painted spoilers must have the color available on our site to order that color. Total and send it to the address on the order form. We accept checks, money orders and cashier's checks. Personal checks will be held until they clear the bank (3-5 business days).

CAN I SEND IT TO A DIFFERENT ADDRESS?

NO. At least not through the shopping cart.

If you are sending to a local work address, you may email us and we will approve the sale on a case by case basis. This is due to a rash of fraudulent transactions. Otherwise, we must require the sale to be paid for by a Bank Transfer or Cashier's Check. Simply print the order form, and fill in the information required from the website (part number, cost, S&H), then fill in your address, etc. If you want it painted, you must fill in the paint code and tell us the color it is (silver, light tarnished silver, etc.). Total your purchase and send it to the address on the order form.

Bank Transfers are fast, but our bank charges $25.00 for this. So, you will need to add that to your total. You will need to contact us for the bank transfer information. Bank Transfers are REQUIRED for ALL orders going outside the 48 contiguous United States.

CAN I ORDER A CAR SPOILER IF I LIVE OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES?

Yes. But, you will need to email us with your complete mailing address and the part number of the spoiler, so that we can give you a quote on the freight via USPS or UPS. We will send you back an email with the total.

We try to ship smaller spoilers through the U.S. Post Office.

Large spoilers can not be shipped through the U.S. Post Office. So, they may only be able to ship via UPS. Many times, UPS charges are more than the spoiler's cost. We will let you know what the shipping charges will be, but if they are too much, we understand.

We cannot arrange special shipping. If you want it delivered by a freight company, you must have the package picked up from our location and shipped to you.

We can ship to an exporter who can then ship to you.

Orders to Alaska, Hawaii and Canada can be paid with a credit card, but must be ordered over the phone or by email. We will need to calculate your shipping costs as they are more than inside the 48 main states of the U.S. Email us your address  and part number and we will give you the total (not including any duties and taxes).

We can not guarantee color match or guarantee fit or warranty any product leaving the United States due to the shipping costs incurred.

If you decide that the total price is acceptable and you want the spoiler, we will send you the information to complete the order.  If you want to do a bank transfer, it will cost extra.  Our bank charges $25.00 to process a bank transfer. So, you will need to add that to your total (if we give you a total, we will add it in).

You will need to contact us for the bank transfer information.

Bank Transfers are REQUIRED for ALL orders outside of Canada and the U.S.

If you agree to our price including shipping, we will email you with the information you need to take to your bank to wire the money to our bank.

We will process your order as soon as accounting sees the funds in our account.  This takes 1-5 days depending on where you are.

AFTER THE SALE

After you purchase a spoiler, we will fax or email you an invoice. This will be done the next business day after your order has been placed.

Normally, we will email you the tracking number after the item ships, so you will know when to expect your part.  Your tracking info will include the expected arrival date.

If you have not received your spoiler within 2 weeks, feel free to email and ask for a tracking number or expected delivery date. Please, be sure to include your invoice number and full name to insure we are checking on the right spoiler.

The order line does not have access to your order once it has gone to the warehouse. The warehouse manager will answer your questions when not on the floor in manufacturing.

PRICE MATCHING?

NO. We do not match other spoiler dealers' prices. We cannot vouch for the quality of their spoilers. If you see the exact same spoiler somewhere else for 1/2 the price, it might be a good deal...it might not be. If most stores have it for nearly the same price and one is dramatically less, chances are that their quality may not be as good. Make sure that the car spoiler you buy will last for years to come.

RETURNS?

Spoilers can not be returned except to be exchanged for the same item number and then only in the case of defects in the spoiler or paint.

All exchanges must be approved and a RMA number given within 15 days of receipt of the item.

We do not accept returns because of changed minds or because you don't like it.  Sorry.
